Pleasant Spot was exactly what it was – a lovely quiet location for a relaxing weekend away. The garden provided a lovely suntrap in the afternoon, and some great walks around the beautiful countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A lovely location with easy access to a convenience store and a very friendly pub. The only company are a couple of friendly horses and the property is charming and well fitted out and maintained. It was like being home from home with a lot of space. Was able to work as well as the internet was excellent. The location is in the heart of Dorset and afforded easy access to almost everywhere including the Jurassic coast, Sherbourne, Cerne Abbas etc. Our host was most helpful in suggesting places to visit, nice walks and charming locations with great food. locations and was always available if we needed her.
The cottage is absolutely fantastic and extremely cosy. The beds were really comfortable and the living rooms really enjoyable with their large fireplaces. It was perfect for a few days in the countryside, relaxing in a beautiful region. Lisa and her team were also extremely kind and responsive, quickly fixing some issues that happened with the AirBnB platform. We will come back for sure 🙂
A lovely property which surpassed expectations. The pictures do not convey the warmth and homely feel in the property. We had a lovely break and would recommend the place to others. We look forward to returning.
The place was absolutely fantastic! This authentic countryside house would be ideal for a family or for a group of friends to relax from city vibes. Location is ideal to explore famous Dorset’s tourist sights.
Beautiful cottage, very spacious & comfortable with a short walk to a small local shop and a very welcoming local pub called the Gaggle of Geese. Well located for Lyme Regis, Bridport Harbour, West Bay, Abbotsbury swannery, Poole and Weymouth. Great for local walks and cycling though some steep hills. Safe enclosed garden for dogs and great pool table in the summer house.
Lisa’s sumptuous cottage is an ideal place to stay. Great situation for exploring lovely Dorset. And then coming back to the cottage after a glorious day out just topped it all. Beautifully situated, very comfortable and well equipped. And the pool room and gym – great added extras. Please do go and visit. You won’t be disappointed.
A beautiful and well-equipped cottage in this peaceful village. There are two comfy snugs, a gym, pool table, outdoor seating and a large kitchen. Two bedrooms are huge and two small doubles. A very comfortable house with all the necessary amenities. We much enjoyed our stay.
